• Hashed IP addresses for anonymous click tracking and fraud prevention (we never store raw IP addresses)
• Referring URL and general browsing behaviour on our site

• Pages viewed and features used

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display relevant campaigns based on your platform and niche preferences
• Track campaign clicks and performance analytics for brands
• Send transactional emails such as account confirmations and campaign status updates
• Detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity
• Improve the platform based on usage patterns

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

3. Google Sign-In

PayPerClips offers the option to sign in using your Google account via Google OAuth. When you choose this method:

• We receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google
• We do not receive access to your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, or any other Google services
• Your Google credentials are never stored on our servers — authentication is handled entirely by Supabase and Google's OAuth infrastructure
• You can revoke PayPerClips' access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides enterprise-grade encryption at rest and in transit. We use industry-standard security measures including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Encrypted database storage
• Role-based access controls — only authorised team members can access user data
• Hashed identifiers for anonymous analytics — we never log raw IP addresses

While we take security seriously, no system is completely immune to risk. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

PayPerClips uses minimal cookies and browser storage solely for the purpose of maintaining your login session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. Your session data is managed through Supabase Auth and cleared when you sign out.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• Supabase — database hosting and user authentication
• Netlify — website hosting and serverless functions
• Google OAuth — optional social login
• Resend — transactional email delivery

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing the data they process on our behalf.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or fraud prevention purposes. Anonymised, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Certain campaigns on the platform may be restricted to users aged 18+ or 21+ due to content regulations. Users are responsible for complying with applicable age restrictions in their jurisdiction.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
